Rangemaster 110 bottom oven wont work

I have a rangemaster 110 and the bottom oven isnt working. The clock is set fine and the rings, other oven and grill work fine too but when turning the knob on the bottom oven there is no sound of the gas like the others and so it doesn’t ignite. Ive just bought it second hand and the previous owner has assured me it worked fine before. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

It's a gas appliance and has to be repaired by a gas safe registered engineer not a DIY job.

Does it provide a spark when you try to ignite it?
If not then its likely the clock module (even though it appears to work) is not passing the power to provide the spark.
AIUI It's a common problem on these ovens.

However as jj4091 says - it requires an RGI to repair it.
