Anybody got any ideas?

I was called to the above boiler The problem seemed to point to the APS I changed it and still had the same problem, Thinking it was a faulty APS I went and got another. This still had the same problem.

Pump runs, fan runs but no ignition, There doesn't seem to be enough suction to start the ignition, Flue is clear.

On looking I have found that the electrode cable runs via the condense trap this has come away from the connection to the trap,

I can start the ignition by sucking very gently on the Air tube which is why I think the APS is still at fault

Any Ideas

Thanks

Take the condensing trap out of line. The sensor on it causes problems.

Make sure the flue sensing pipe is at 90º to the direction of the flue. Undo the four screws from above and rotate the restricting ring collar.

The APS is only at fault if its a Honeywell job in my experience.

After that Ravenheat technical are on 0113 252 7007
