Hi,
I am only after some ideas of a diagnosis if possible. I apologise if this post is basic or lacking in technical detail.
Every time my boiler pump turns off, there is a rattling noise that lasts for 3-4 seconds in most of the radiators. It is predominately the downstairs radiators, but you can also hear it upstairs in the house.
It is strange, it does it every single time, and has done since I have lived in the house (5 years).
The boilder & central heating otherwise works fine. It is an Apollo Fanfare and it about 20 years old.
I am a lady that lives on my own, so I would appreciate any advice, as if the solution to it is complicated and costly, I won't bother doing anything about it.
Thank you.
