Yes,he did say he had only the central bit of the test to do. He did say there was a bit of water on the connector on the ignition board when he removed it so could be why it kept blowing the fuse on the main pcb until the water moved away but now the fuse doesnt low and fan just kicks in recycling slow and fast. He's put his gas meter on the gas valve somewhere and said the gas not opened up and there's no spark also.

So just an update ive manged to fix the boiler and its now giving me hot water.
So special thanks to DP and AGAS. Saved myself £££££££ from these rip off gas engineer's. Everyone should do bit of research and have a go themselves.

Ravenheat no longer exist.
Minimal parts available.
You'd need a gas safe engineer to determine what is at fault and repair.
However, before you call someone in, I would contact a couple of parts suppliers and give them the GC number and see what components (if any) they can still supply... Gas valve, fan, pcb, pump etc!
If nothing, then skip it and get a new boiler.
If it is the pump then they are generic parts and available without needing a specific pump supplied through the original boiler maker ( at an inflated price ).
A boiler engineer should be able to advise and source a generic pump.
