Ravenheat boiler hot water not woring but CH does

Hi, hoping someone can help with my problem. I have a ravenheat csi 85 aaa and the CH works fine but HW not working. My dad has taken the diverter motor off and had a look inside, it seems to work OK. When he reinstalled it the motor moved round to switch HW on, but then moved again to the off position and stuck there.
Can anyone help with this? Do I just need a new diverter motor?

Without doing tests on it all I can say is that it might be faulty.

But it could be other problems which a boiler engineer would test to correctly diagnose before replacing any parts.
