Hi,
I have a Ravenheat boiler, which is around 2 years old. The pilot light keeps cutting out, and the fault has been getting worse. In the past few days, its keeps cutting out, after a few seconds, after it is reset. Does any one know why? Does anyone know what the best course of action is ?
thanks,
Duck

It probably just needs a new thermocouple which is a relatively simple job.

There could however be other issues.

Normally this job should be done by a competent CORGI engineer as its a safety device within the combustion chamber.

The boiler must be at least 4-5 years old as they stopped making boilers with permanent pilot lights about 1999 !
