Ravenheat HE85 AAA (T) LPG Boiler: Overheat Alarm
Over the past couple of days a fault has developed while in the CH+DHW mode. The overheat alarm comes on and so the boiler correctly shuts down and resetting it by turning the main switch OFF and ON allows it to operate again for a while (a half to several hours).
The burner produces a nice clean set of flames but sometimes they go out and immediately re-fire. This occurs every 40 seconds or so and at other times the burner goes out for 5 minutes over a long period of perhaps 30 minutes (presumably the normal anti-recycle phase).
There is another fault too: whilst in CH+DHW mode with the CH timed ON the shower and bath tap sometimes cycles hot and cold every half a minute or so, and while the CH is timed OFF the shower gets very very hot, though these symptoms are not noticeable at the kitchen tap.
Any ideas please; thanks in anticipation.
Regards, DITRod.
