Hi all
My Ravenheat RSF82ET boiler is presently working fine - for now - both HW and CH.
Upon switching the CH on, there is a continual clicking noise that comes from the pump that gradually lessens and eventually stops after about 30-60 mins of operation. After that, for as long as the system is left alone, the noise doesn't recur and appears to work fine.
However, if I run the HW for a while, typically anything more than a few minutes (showers, baths, kitchen sink etc), upon turning the tap off, the pumps clicking noise often returns. Again, it will eventually stop being noisy but can take anything upto half an hour or so.
Any thoughts. Presumably pump is on it's way out?
If so, what should I be paying for a replacement pump (not inc labour which I understand will vary).
Thanks yet again!
