Rayburn 460k oil

Hi All,

having a problem with a rayburn 460k oil.
when the heating turns off on the timer at night 15mins later the reset button pops out, hence waking up to a cold house in the mornings until i reset it.

any help would be appreciated

Do you mean the overheat button?

its the one on the rayburn PROGRAMMER

The programmer does not have a reset button, but there is a limit thermostat that I think is operating. Check the operation of the pump overrun thermostat, if faulty, it will not run the pump to disperse the residual heat in the boiler. Also make sure that the unit is properly wired, there needs to be a permanent live so that the pump overrun can be effective. If you can't access the pumpoverrun stat or are unfamiliar with the wiring, try turning down the control stat until you can get someone in.
