hi ...we recently removed our rayburn 80 glass fronted fire as it was an ornament according to our landlord...so it was never lit
it still gave out alot of heat as the pipes were still connected to the fire....

someone came over and had a quick look and told us to join the two pies that go in the top...and the same for the bottom two pipes...

the system was drained and we did that....we have had a few air locks...and have sorted that out but we havent had any hot water at all since....the pipe going to the tank is warm..but nothing after that.....

can anyone tell me if we have connected the pipes right???
and if so have we just got a great big air lock?

thanks
