Re do roof alternative

Hi,

I have a polycarbonate roof conservatory that needs redoing as there are many cracks and leaks. At the moment i cant afford this. For now ive taped as many places as i can but i want to know if there’s anything i can’t put as a whole over the whole roof to cover over it so no water actually gets to the roof.

How would i tie this down? Also there is nothing to hold it down in the middle, no beam or any type of support

2x2 fence posts laid across the tarpaulin at the ends of the roof and the middle

Tie the tarpaulin at the guttering, assuming you have some guttering.

Alternatively whack some silicone sealant or preferably a polymer in the holes/cracks
