Hi,

A few months ago I removed and capped a radiator whilst I decorated my bathroom. I have a combi boiler pressurised to about 1. I am planning to close all of the valves, replace the radiator and then repressurise.

My question is; do I need to do any bleeding when I do this? (Top down or bottom up?) Or do I simply re-pressurise.

Many thanks.

No need to close OTHER radiator valves as long as the one's you're working with are holding.

Yes you will need to bleed air from the the rad once replaced. You can check the others but theres zero point letting water out.
The pressure will go down so you'll need to top up the boiler.
