Hi all,
Im re-laying a wooden floor and would like some advice,
Im halfway through lifting the floor see pic
But im not sure what to do to prep the floor for the re-laying. I think the boards were stuck down with bitumen. When lifting them there was some sort of tiling underneath them see pic
As you can see from the image some of the tiles have come up, some havent.
This is what the tiles look like.
Is this asbestos?!
My main question is how should i prep the floor for the re-lay? Remove all the tiles? Level where tiles have been removed? Not bother levelling?
Also what shold I use to stick the floor down again?
Many thanks for reading.
