Hi,

I'm trying to move the soil pipe position closer to the wall as it is currently 36cm to centre of pipe opening. I've managed to jackhammer a decent hole through the slab around the pipe now here's where I'd really appreciate some help.

The existing pipe is a 100mm diameter asbestos/cement type, this will need to be cut to lower it, then which connectors should I use?

I'll attach some photos to be clearer:

Pics of the larger area would be very helpful.

What material is the soil pipe above? Where is the manhole?

What you seem to have is a rest bend, and, on the face of it, more concrete will have to be cut away to expose the horizontal pipe before a cut and a connection can be made.

Depending on the pipe location, the length of pipe run and the extent of the slab perhaps it would be best practice to eliminate the present pipework, and replace it with a more substantial modern material?
