Re-roofing

Sorry if this is "how long is a bit of string" question but I'm looking at getting my house roof replaced with a new "dry hip system"

I've had a few varying quotes to date (my house is a 3 bedroom semi built in the 70's).. Is there anything in particular I should watch our for when choosing a contractor? Is it possible to comment on how much I should be paying? Two of the three companies I've looked at are members of the FMB but I'm not sure what that really counts for..

This is a grey area for me and I'd appreciate and thoughts or comments!

Best to get at least 3 quote and read what they intend to do for that price

Oh, and don't forget recommendations. Try phoning your nearest roofing merchant or builders merchant and asking them who they could recomend
