Re-using Ridge Tiles

I'm about to replace my 1930s roof. My roofer has said that he will remove and then replace the original ridge tiles as not only will this be cheaper, but they are much better quality than modern concrete ridge tiles and will still last longer. Another roofer completely disagrees and says they will look awful and won't last too much longer as they are 90 years old. Who should I believe?

I would defintely go for new ridge tiles if getting a whole new roof. OK maybe he doesnt trust concrete ridge tiles for some reasons but you can still get new clay ridge tiles etc.
