Plastic plumbing is very good if fitted correctly and used for some purposes.If we are talking in cosmic timescales then yes in 10,000 years it might rot away completely and leak.In normal time scales modern plastic piping is not particularly prone to leaking in the next 50 years if fitted correctly.plastic is shyte and it will leak eventually but when ……………………………..fact

No need to google one of those things i need to know for work. We use EPDM for everything as it doesn't require any maintenance, if it can hold a seal at 39,000 feet i'm happy to trust a bar or 2 of water with them.
