l have dug out for a driveway and this will be 20x20 ft and 4" deep ,l have put hardcore down but having never done a driveway before would like some advice on what to do before it gets concrete put down. Is there any web sites that will give info about doing a driveway and roughly how much ready mix would l need. Is it done by the cubic metre and how much roughly would it cost and best place to get the ready mix.. Thanks

Your drive weighs in at a little over 3.7 M3 . It would be wise to have an expansion joint up the centre.

It would be wise to put some A142 mesh in it too, 35mm down from the top, as anti-crack. Use RC35 designated mix; part load will prob cost in the order of £90/m³.
