I'm about to build a small rustic retaining wall - about 50' in overall length and about 2 feet high. I am looking for old weathered bricks that would suit a cottage garden (by the way, "rustic" is my way of saying, I've never done this before so not everything will be 100% perfect).
I'm also looking for old paving bricks.
I've seen our local reclamation yard charging £850 per 1000 pavers. This strikes me as a lot (I also know they put the good ones on the outside of the pallet and rubbish in the center).
Where would you advise I look for the best deal? I'm now not working due to health reasons at the moment so budget is tight.
