Reclaimed wood floors

Hi, can anyone help, I have recently bought a reclaimed solid oak parquet floor. This floor was previously layed with tar which, I need to clean off. Is there a cleaning solution i can buy or an easy way of cleaning this wood.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.
