I have laid 5mm ply on the chipboard floor in our cloakroom prior to fitting rubber tiles from here:

I want to fill the screw holes and ensure the joint between 2 boards is really smooth. What filler would you recommend? I need something that doesn't need mixing but is like Plastic Padding.

When glueing the tiles down, I am concerned that the glue might squeeze up between the tiles - how do I prevent this? I remember laying cork tiles in the seventies (yes!) and this used to happen, which was very irritating.

Why do you want flexible filler - the top of the screws aren't flexible.
I'd just use some Ronseal pine wood filler.
Can you apply the adhesive with a roller? - that should give you a thin, even coat that would minimise adhesive squeezing up between the tiles.
