Recommend a remote control light switch for LED downlights?

Hi

I've got a MK dimmer switch operating JCC 7w LEDs that I'd like to change to a remote controlled dimmer switch.

Essentially, we want to change the position of the light switch, but do not want to have to dig out the wall.

MK's Echo range looks good, but I think I'd be looking at £180! for a switch and switch receiver.

There are lots of other options, some look very cheap, too cheap.

It needs to be able to dim the LEDs and look decent.

Any recommendations please?

Note that many dimmers need a reasonable load to operate properly. Check out the dimmer compatability guide on the above link to see if it will operate with your lights.

The dimmers in that link won't work with LEDs..

Those products can be programmed to work with any existing remote you may already have.

You can use a spare button on (for example) your TV remote!
