AT BEHEST OF SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED.
problem with shower mixer in en-suite. Looks like an old mira excel exposed. pitiful flow/pressure. took off mixer valve and fitted wash macs temporarilly (15mm compression on service/feed pipework) borrowed test guage readings approx .4 bar on both feeds.
previous house owner when contacted admitted that performance had steadily declined basically only delivers/mixes lukewarm dhw at a pitifull trickle.
vented cylinder in with dedicated cw and dhw feeds to ensuite shower on 15mm. no surrey flange for hw just branched off before drops to all other drain offs for hot water (that is: en-suite basin and main bathroom and downstairs) cw has a separate dedicated drain off from near base of tank. Really dont want to shell out for replacement valve like for like as the Miras are prohibitively pricey.
Any recommendations for manufacturer/model on a manual (non thermo) mixer specifically desigend for low pressure appreciated..

head from bottom of tank to top of riser rail/hose approc 70 cms
no scope for raising tank to increase head
do you think I should bite the bullet and install a twin impeller pump?
