After the bathroom had been tiled, along came the electrician and plumber to install radiator and extractor fan - and there's red brick dust all over the grout. I tried brushing it to see if it would come off, but it hasn't. I didn't want to go washing or scrubbing at it in case I made it worse.

Anybody know how I get it off? Or do I not.............................

I would have thought that the brick dust would have washed out of the tile grout - but certainly not out of any silicone if it hadn't fully cured.....try a small area with a nail brush and some wash up liquid to see what happens.

If that doesn't work, you can buy grout whitening pens, which work surprisingly well so long as the grout isn't too old.....assuming the grout is white, of course!
