Redring overheating

Hi guys, I was hoping someone could advise me plz.

We have a Redring active 3205 and for a few weeks the shower has sounded a little bit noisy, like a boiler issue.
When I showered this morning after I turned the shower off on the dial (mains supply still on) the boiler kept heating for about 10 seconds then switched off, the neon light on the shower went off. So i ran the water which was very hot for a few seconds then went cold.

I then turned the shower off and after some time the boiler started to heat again.
Turning the power off stopped the boiler heating when the dial is set to off on the shower.

What could be going wrong?
Don't really want to replace the whole shower as it is tiled into the bathroom.

That's a 320s

You've more likely got a micro switch sticking on.
