Hi Guys,

I will be refurbishing a small WC: painting walls, re-tiling, changing sink and toilet. What are the main steps, do I first tile the floor, then paint the walls and then install the sink and the toilet?

Or is there some other generally used process?

Thanks,

Are you tiling any of wall areas?
If you intend to sit the WC and basin pedestal or vanity (if not wall mounted).
I would do all the prep work for plumbing and painting.
Such as relocating/amending of pipe work and waste, fitting isolation valves if non existing, filling, sanding, basecoat/primers.
Then I would prepare for tiling subfloor, prime and tile then grout.
Then you give walls another lick of paint, prior to fitting the basin and WC in.
Once that has been done any touching up of paint work can be done.
Job hopefully happily finished.
