Refurbishment and render of pebbledash single prefabricated garage

Hi

Does anyone know if you can render over a pebbledash garage and if so who would do it? The garage refurbishment people I have spoken to only seem to do new roof, new window, new door which also needs to be done, but I cant find anyone who specifically does rendering or will any plasterer/renderer do this?

I would imagine the stones would need to be chipped away first, at least!

some prefab garage panels are made with stones or flints embedded in the face. I expect they are made by sprinkling stones into the mould before pouring the mix. You can identify them by the absence of stones on the edge of each panel.

I don't think you could scrabble those off.
