Hi All,

Whats the best (and easiest) way to to remove moss from between block paving joints. I've tried weed killers and also been on my hands and knees scraping the joints but I would like someting more successful and easy.

there is a chemical called Armatillox (sp?) that is supposed to be very good but it is not sold in my small town. Bleachy things will kill it but it comes back. Otherewise you will find moss killer chemicals in the Flat Roofing section of your builders/DIY place.

good way to wash the sand out of the joints and leave the blocks wobbling like an old man's teeth.

theres a knack to it ,done mine 3 times a year with a slight pencil jet and been down 6 years and have 3 cars and a van on it ,still rock solid .twice a year sprinkle block sand on it and brush in .still dont have dents where cars have been .

dont jet wash it and avoid chemicals as it can stain the blocks. We advise customers to get a bag of sharp sand and a stiff broom. throw the sharp sand down and sweep it across the blocks with the broom. It will shift a hell of a lot of the moss and dirt and is a lot less messy than jet washing
