Hi all

we are (almost) about to buy a property that has a sizable concrete patio plus a double garage in the back garden.
Part of our (extensive) plans are to remove both of these and lay grass to the rear.

Obviously, we're now heading toward winter, but what is the simplistic / general recommendation for laying new turf? For example, should we aim to get rid of all of the heavy duty stuff to be ready to lay turf for ~March/April?

Thanks
Scott

If you intend to the lay the lawn in spring, which now will be a no brainier as you have missed the autumn season.
If the house needs plenty of work doing I would prioritise the work.
And do the stuff that needs doing first as the garage and patio removal can wait. Plus the garage in the meantime could well be usual place for storage of materials, tools etc...
I would leave it until the new year.
