Remove Trusses/Barton

I have 6 TRUSS/ baton?? in the middle of my loft they're 2" x 1" x 8 ft approx height and held by 1 nail at the bottom and 1 nail at the top and it's pretty loose.

i'm currently having my loft insulated and i want to remove this TRUSS/Baton?? before i plaster board it and make it into a loft storage area.

can anyone help?
