..and now I want to use the empty space where the dishwasher was as a cupboard. Can I just use treated (sealed) MDF as the base of the cupboard and support it on small metal brackets that I would screw into the two side walls ?
Also, I would like to take the 'fitted' door from the old diswasher and make this into a door for the cupboard - only trouble is that the door was a pull down (from the top) as it was attached to the front of the dishwasher
Are there any hinges that are slow / spring release type that I can use for the door as I will probably have to open it from the top (pull down) as that's where the handle is ?
