Hi,

Have a chimney thats linked to next door. Next door dont want to take their stack down but we do. What's involved in making sure that their chimney is ok?

I take it it will require building regs consent for starters.

All depends if it's a single or double wall thickness or can it be rendered or new brickwork and so on. Only the BCO can tell you

What age is the house? How high is the stack? How many pots? It will probably need a party wall agreement.
