Removing a dishwasher hose pipe

we've swapped around a couple of appliances in our kitchen and the dishwasher hose pipe is no longer long enough. we want to remove it and put in a longer one. two questions:
1 - the pipe is stuck fast; how to we remove it?
2 - where can i buy a longer hose pipe?
