i am hoping to remove the light fitting in my bedroom and replace it with a candle holder. I am going to leave the switch in place so that it can be replaced when i sell the house. can anyone help me with what to do with the wires?

how big a base does this candle holder have? and is there ahole under the

if your lft isn't boarded just pull them through an use a junction box

otherwise

i would terminate the wires with terminal block in a chockbox

then push it into the hole but leve it in such a way thatit can be pulled out easilly later

the loft isn't boarded so i can easily get to the wires. i take it the junction box thing will be self explanatory when i get one. will that be a problem if someone comes in and presses the switch by mistake.
