When an oil based paint has been re-applied to wood over the years and the layers build up (losing some of the wood detail) it can be easily removed with chemical and/or heat treatment and a scraper.
What is the option for a water based paint?
The layers may not build up as thickly compared to an oil based paint but if one would like to get back to bare wood....what are the options for removing layers of water based (acrylic) paint?
I would also be specifically talking about an exterior based acrylic such as superdec.
