I have an old Aga that was working fine (although bloody expensive and not very efficient) that is now disconnected. It runs on gas and also heated the water tank. I now have lovely new heating and want shot of this beast.

Can I diy the removal or are there some problems I may face. Gas and water are both disconnected.

Mike.

I would suggest that you check on line for Aga refurbishment companies. They will probably collect it and maybe even offer a decent price. AFAIK Aga's are built on site and therefore will need to be dismantled on site, refurb companies will have the necessary expertise and you may even make a bit of cash.

I have sent a few emails to see if any of the recondition firms want it. Some replies so hopefully someone will want it. As much as I like take-away I would enjoy some decent home cooked food.

I am in the not so sunny Midlands - Nuneaton in Warwickshire.
