Removing closed couple cistern and toilet together

i need to change the close coupling kit on the cistern Its leaking bad now Thing is the wing nuts are in a right state and i cannot get to one side to get a hacksaw blade in its right against a wall I wondered if it would be easier to remove the full toilet ,which looks a bit easier but heavy Any advise please

Remove water from pan and cistern then once all screws are removed I find it best to place hands under the pan and slightly towards you from where the wingnuts are and lift both out together.
 
Do the bolts have a screw head?
If so, hold the wing nut still, and use a big screwdriver, just until the nuts are loose! :)
