Hi All,

i am looking to put down some patio in my garden by removing the existing concrete flooring we have at the moment, for the most part i can do this by using a electric breaker, im just stuck on what to do once i come to removing the concrete around my drainage pipes, most of it is running through the concrete then below ground.

im worried using the breaker around the cast iron and some plastic pipes would cause it the pipes to fracture, is there a method to do this?

thanks

It is not easy to be sure without seeing the job but I'd probably use a hammer and a narrow chisel close to the pipes.
