Hi all

Customer of ours has the following problem: after removing the carpet to sand the original (pine) floorboards they are left with 'unremovable' double-sided sticky-tape. Paint-stripper doesn't work so they tell us.

Any tips? Sanding the tape will only glogg up the paper and spread the adhesive on other parts of the floor.

could always try a hair dryer to soften up the adhesive trying variouse temperatures[by adjusting exposure time] to see what works best [if at all  ] but worth a try

Don't know if this is any good?

Another one I can think of is Evo-stick glue remover may do it.
