Removing exterior paint from car bodywork?

Can anyone help please?

Due to a mis-calculation of the range of spray when painting the garage, one side of my car is dotted with thousands of tiny spots of water-based exterior emulsion. Repeated washing has had no impact. Has anyone got any suggestions please?

O dear o dear!

Ive done the same thing with a roller of all things..paint spots can travel for a good hundred odd yards with a strong wind behind it.

I used hot water on a soft cloth ...placed it over the spots and left it for a while until they softened up.
