Hi, I have got my hands on a UPVC window for a mancave that i am building.
The problem is i can't get the glass out, it is externally beaded and although i removed the beading, there appears to be some retaining clips holding the glass in place.

These clips appear to be screwed into place, any ideas as to how i remove the glass?

Thanks...

If it's an old zenith staybrite window the clip is spring loaded so from inside side of the window remove and gaskets which you probably already have and poke a flat bladed scraper against the clip and it should release, the bit you see screwed on remains in place, the stainless clip part locks behind it, pic would help though

Cheers i will try that tomorrow, will take a pic if i am unsuccessful.

One of the clips was loose and came out, and looks the same as this one....

You need to press on this area and it releases that little tooth from under the plastic clip

Poke it from inside in the gap between the glass and frame

Managed to get the window out, took me a while to remove the clips though.

Thanks for your help.
