Hi there, I am losing the battle to remove gloss paint remnants-photos attached. All the walls and ceiling in this room were covered in woodchip wallpaper and as I've discovered a layer of gloss painted wall/ceiling under that. In most places when I removed the wallpaper the gloss paint came away cleanly on the back of it ,but in others I have patchy areas of gloss paint left. Steaming doesn't soften enough to remove and I can't be bothered to spend time sanding-am looking for recommendations please of a paint stripping product that will most efficiently and effectively remove the gloss paint? Thanks in advance!

Wallpaper scraper. The ones with razor sharp blade to remove gloss.
Then I'd 80 grade mesh sand with dust going in my vac as I have dustless sanding kit.
You can bodge DIY orbital sander on vacuum.
Just get worst off what could be distemper on that ceiling or white wash.
Then gardz.
Skim with wall smoother or other material.

Could bodge it with wallrock lining paper I guess. Putting over as is.

Other way is plasterboard over and skim
