Removing grohe cartridge

What do folks think about this? I thought fixing a leaky faucet would be an easy project, but seems cartridges have fair amount of grout and are stuck.

Unfortunately you need to remove all of that grout.
Small screwdriver, hole punch, knitting needles, anything else that can help.
Then you might be able to do the job.

It should turn, but even applying a good amount of force I’m unable to. I did strip back some of the grout but still no luck.

Alright, all I needed was a better wrench only to find the grohe salesperson sold me the wrong size cartridge’s
