The handle on my sliding door is not working correctly and is slightly loose.
I wanted to remove it to see if there was something obvious I could do, but I can't even get it off!
There are no visible screws and I have no idea how to remove it. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

You see the hexagon with a line in the centre ( below the handle ) ... that is a faceplate ( about 1mm thick ) , gently pull on it , or get a flat screwdriver ( or similar) and you should be able to pay it up, careful not to bend it, now twist that ' plate ' by 90 degrees and your screws should be visible

Thanks very much for replying.

I can see the hexagon, but I am not having any luck so far.

I know I'm being thick here, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean by pull on it? Is the hexagon supposed to come off or twist?

Definitely need a new handle! I think I have located what I need- a tilt and turn upvc handle.

With any luck I'll be sorted in a couple of days :)
