Was recently painting a newly plastered wall which contains a upvc window. I used masking tape on the upvc windows but i left some of it on for a few days, when i tried to remove it it just keeps ripping in tiny bits, is there some chemical that could be used to help me remove it, tried hot water and washing up liquid but no joy

lighter fuel, harmless to pvc and wipe off with tissue.
