Removing protective film alu bifold doors.....help appreciated

Afternoon all

Losing the will here....

Have aluminium bifold doors with protective film that was left on most of them, externally. South facing too, nice and dried out and flakey.

Any product that will help in the breakdown of the film to assist scraping? Hairdryer and plastic wedge to scrape is slow work. Stanley blades delicately work not preferred.

Really appreciate any advice on what might help.
