Hi, hopefully someone can help. I am a plasterer by trade & don't really have the first clue about plumbing so am after some advice. Have recently undertaken a job of skimming a whole house out from top to bottom. This involves draining the radiators, taking them off, skimming and then refitting the radiator in each room.
Draining, & refitting & bleeding the radiators is no problem. I was just wondering if I need to do anything about pressurising the system again after I've finished? It's an old style boiler & the rads are fed by hot water tank up in the attic. Or because the rads are fed by the tank, is there no need to pressurise as the pressure comes from the gravity??
I apologise in advance if that sounds ridiculous bit like I said, I have absolutely no idea when it comes to plumbing.
