Hi All.
I'm a DIYer building a single storey rear extension on my 1960s detached house. Roughly 4 metres by 9 metres.
My foundations have been poured, but despite oiling all the shuttering boards up, about 30% are stuck fast. The boards are mainly where the foundations cross the sewer trench. The ground is sandstone and pretty solid. The foundations are pretty deep (About 900 stepped down to 1400) due to me having to get below the invert of a drain that runs under the extension (Yes, I got an agreement.) and having to remove some wartime concrete Building Control didn't like. It will have a suspended floor.
My question is, should I remove all the shuttering (all 18mm ply) or can I bludgeon out what I can and leave the rest where it is to gently decompose?
