Removing sign from Van

Good Afternoon,

I have bought a van and am having trouble removing the previous signs.

I have been left with the outline of the words and some sticky residue.

How can i remove this without ruining paintwork etc?

Get the wifes hair dryer, and warm up the stickers then peel off as you go.
To remove the residue, use some methylated spirits on a soft cloth.
When youve done that, tcut the paintwork back, then use a colour resoring polish.
That should make it like new again.
