Before we parted ways the builder had over shot the height of this new wall, so I need to take off the top course. Will I be ok to do this with a hammer and chisel, or should I purchase a mini grinder? Or is there a better way? Ta.

TM1303, good evening.

Have a try at using a "Bolster" and enter the tool on the "end" of the block a few sharp taps [generally] eases the block up and can be removed??

Ken.

Thanks Ken. I think I've got one of those around the house somewhere, I'll give it a go!
